So the boys are all in the car to head to the dentist. All the boys but Dane have appointments to get there teeth cleaned. I stepped down from our kitchen and twisted my foot, not my ankle. I was able to hold the tears in and hobble to the car and started off. I was dropping Dane off at my friend Julia's house. So as I am driving I tried to remain calm. I called Julia to ask for some ice and ibuprofen at her house. She was great and asked if there was anything else she could do. I asked if she'd get Dane from the car so I didn't have to walk up her front steps. At this point I was holding back the tears but the dam was about to break. Use can sense this in a person's voice as Julia did. She then offered to take all four of my boys to the dentist for me. I accepted. Truly a friend who goes above and beyond. Not only this but she also watched Oliver Bryant and Seth for 3 days while Jeff and I were on an interview trip with Alex and Dane. I think I owe her big time.
